Abismo (abyss in Spanish) is a 100% Teixadura, grown on sloped vineyards on the banks of the Avia River in the Ribeiro region of Galicia. The climate is mild and humid here with less rain than the coastal areas, the perfect conditions for this indigenous Galician grape.

Pale yellow with hints of light green in colour, quite floral like a Pinot Gris with hints of yellow melon and white peach. This is gorgeously soft and rounded flavours of pear and stone-fruit, with a delicate floral backdrop and a clean citrussy finish.

Lovely to drink on its own but works really well with seafood dishes like paella or simply smoked salmon with a twist of lemon and black pepper.
