A little bit from the brand : 

HERD bags are made from woven polypropylene (WPP). WPP has been widely adopted for functional features; weight bearing, wipe clean, light and easily recycled. HERD bags have all these qualities and are also made from a minimum of 30% recycled material. This means that 30% of the WPP in HERD products draws from clothing and waste plastic already in circulation. 

In September 2020 the popular Memphis design returns as our first tote made from 100% fully recycled content, in this case plastic water bottles.  Our intention is for our full range to be made from 100% recycled content or from alternative materials that represent a step forward in sustainable materials.
