A lovely alternative to Riesling for those who prefer fruity, low-acid and creamy wines, this Pinot Blanc (Weissburgunder in native Germany) makes for a great everyday/summer wine.
Fruit is sourced from organic vineyards in the Rheingau and Rheinhessen, fermented in stainless steel and left to rest for 4 months before bottling.
Pale straw in colour and light on the nose, this is typically understated, with pear, melon and quince, with a suggestion of lemon meringue pie. Lithe and minerally on the palate, soft yellow fruits, pineapple and lychee, with a gentle finish infused with floral notes and delicate spices, it’s delightful.
