What differentiates red jalapenos from green jalapenos is basically age. While the green peppers are picked when they are young, red chilies are allowed to mature longer on the plant, thus developing more capsaicin (the hot compound). 

• Simply serve this jelly on crackers and cream cheese. 
• Make a cheesy toasties and fill with jelly as a wonderful kick
•  Roast chicken wings and toss with a mixture of jalapeno jelly, smooth peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, fish sauce and toasted sesame oil. YUM
