Situated 40km from the Ligurian Sea within the province of Alessandria, Produttori del Gavi overlooks the historic Gavi fortress and has been making wine for over 65 years. With 220 hectares between them, the 95 farmers in this co-operative boast the largest vineyard holding in Gavi DOCG, which contains a number of certified organic vineyards as well as vines up to 90 years old.

Steel fermented and matured on the lees, this is straw yellow with a classic green tint, and aromas of pear, acacia flower, passion fruit and pineapple. Crisp and zesty on the open, with pear and tropical fruit flavours on the mid-palate, clean and minerally with a freshing twist of citrus on the finish.

Wonderfully versatile, this is perfect as an aperitif or with light appetisers, fish dishes and creamy cheeses.
