Known as the king of peppers, Tellicherry originates from the coast of Kerala, India,  specifically in the Malabar region. Tellicherry peppercorns are extra-large berries that are left to ripen for a long time on the vine. Picked just before turning red, the Tellicherry peppercorn is then dried, turning it black.

The flavour profile of Tellicherry pepper is subtle, warm and vastly complex with fruity notes. Considered the finest of Indian peppercorns, they are a must-have in the kitchen. Due to the mellow complexity of the corn, it is truly an all-purpose pepper.
